This is a section we have not paid a whole lot of attention to, yet. Our first excuse is that we have made a point of spreading good photo images throughout this web site. A (marginally) better explanation is that there is such a huge number of attractive pictures of water now available from all corners of the web, that organizing and selecting the best from among them is just something we haven't been able to get around to so far.

A couple of sources we found yesterday are so good, however, that we just had to put them in here for your enjoyment:

From the National Geographic, which must have one of the best collections of water pictures in the world, these are exceptional.

And, from the University of Bergen in Norway, here is a video series that is just amazing. Though these are moving, rather than still, pictures, Professor Tvedt's perception of the History of Water is so impressive that I just hope a lot of you will order and enjoy the series.
